Bad injection or something else?

Yesterday I injected myself with a 25 gauge needle that was 1 and 1/2 in long. I injected my quad and when I pulled out blood started spurting everywhere. I don't know what happened but maybe I hit a vein? After that it's now swollen a lot and I'm worried that I might have an infection what do I do

you shouldnt be using a 1.5 in your quad man, thats too long for that area... switch to 1 inch...

I hate quad injections, never do them and never recommend them.

Massage and heat the site and see how it goes. It might take time for swelling to go away but dont do quad shots again.

Had a similar experience early on. Just apply a warm compress, massage and keep an eye on it. It happens but I agree with others here, 1.5” is a bit long. 1” should be enough.
