building gym from home depot?

i went to my friends house over the weekend and he was showing me his setup and i was amazed at what he did. he basically got everything from home depot lol and he saved a fortune doing it that way. for example he built a pulley system which cost all of $50, he used heavy pots from the garden section as the weights and used ropes to build it. what you think about this since hard to find equipment right now

I would just get some water jugs, you'll get a good workout with a few gallons tied together.

In prison, I had went from 127, to 195, from 2012 until 2020. And I did it straight water bottles in a cotton mesh bag... I've got before and after pictures too...straight mackerel, tuna, mash potatoes and beans..
