post finasteride syndrome and pct

my doctor put me on this shit years ago and didn't warn me about the dangerous. silly me for listening to a doctor right? i guess other people would have not. i've read bodybuilders also crash post cycle the same way and have the same symptoms i am going through. so they run a pct. would that make sense for me to do too?

no... honestly there is no known cure for post finasteride syndrome... some people have said proviron helped while others say it doesnt...

You should stop the finastride and wean yourself off (not with dutastride), just go off. You can use n2shampoo for your hair for now.

Your doctor didn't warn you... pfft. EACH AND EVERY PACKAGE COMES WITH THAT WHITE PAPER. You know... the one with the warnings on. Now tell me you didn't read it and blame the doc for that too. Then there the why you're on it - did the doc drag you into his office and give it to you with no choice? Try this 'I was going bald, my ego couldn't handle it. I saw my doc, he said f'all and I'm too damn lazy to read the warnings or do research for myself'. Now that's closer to the truth right?

Once we get to that point then you can start to help yourself.

One thought would be to not use it any more.

we want to believe in doctors, we want to believe that because someone is a doctor they are competent. the truth is every profession has incompetent people and you should never put something in your body without doing your own homework. i never blame the victim, that is part of life. you want to stop the finasteride cold turkey, no need to wean off. and i would get on proviron

I have said it over and over how bad this stuff is. I really hate to hear when this actually happens to people. Especially when they are following their doctor's recommendation. I suggest never taking it again. Proviron helps some people so I would definitely give it a try.
