question for ladies on post workout

What are your post workout foods and supplements that you use? I am 23 years old and have been weight lifting for a long time. I have tried everything imaginable and have switched things up post workout so i would like to hear you own strategies with this. I finish my workouts late at night

I'm not a lady but my g/f takes a protein shake after training like all others. I also have her take ostazol 1 cap after training with shake.

tough question, i would hydrate and have a light meal in that situation. not the most idea thing to workout at night though. impossible to fall asleep when your adrenaline and heart rate is up. you have to unwind before bed in that situation
 
leucine is what is most important after a workout, NOT protein... WHEY contains leucine... LEUCINE is what you need to recover... so if you want the extra calories from a protein drink, awesome.. if not, all you need are bcaa's... Leucine is the key... everyone is different on what they may or may not eat after a workout... i know i cant eat a ton personally right after but everyone is different
 
After workout anyone needs quick action food , so best option is whey or egg whites with some dextrose, pinnacle and creatine , basic and is what we need to recover quick and do solid meal 1 hour after shake
 
Tough one because you don't want to have a large meal right before bed. Maybe something light or try nothing at all and see how you respond.
 
People have affraid to get fat eating before bed but all depends when you train , so if you train late you need to have at least 2 good meals after workout and off course with carbs to recover glycogen post workout ( is a must ) . Number one reson people dont grow
 
i don’t think that hard about it, i normally like my post workout 500-800 calories with 40-60g protein.
