Tips to have most energy from diet

what are the tips and secrets that you guys and gals have to offer when it comes to getting more energy out of my day through my diet
I seem to get tired around 2 in the afternoon. I then have to work out at 5 and my energy levels are down. Do you think this is Diet related and I should change up what I'm eating
 
avoid refined, processed, junk foods.

stick to easy to digest foods, try a low fodmap diet

avoid foods that are hard to digest.

don't eat in the morning, eating a big breakfast is probaly what is making you sleepy midday

i would start with low carbs and high protein and no sugars
 
i got high good low gi carbs for energy
