1" inch is fine for most people in the ventro glute but if you carry more fat there then a 1.5 pin can help you actually reach the muscle and that alone can reduce pip. Try the longer pin if you’ve had hit or miss depth because NPP feels cleaner when it is fully intramuscular. @knarfster
