    is cardio before lifting weights a mistake?

    I was reading and talking to people. Seems to be a lot of debate on this topic. Long story short, is cardio before lifting weights a mistake? Or is it okay to do? I wanted to do 30 minutes of cardio, get in a little sweat, then hit about 20 sets of weights. What do you think?

    compound lifting with no deadlifts?

    Is it possible to get in good with compound lifting and take advantage of it without doing any sort of deadlifting? The gym I train at the owner will not let anyone deadlift anymore after some moron put a hole in the floor and cracked a weight doing it.
