I’m looking to pick your brains on if you think this is a good leg day and what you should add or take out of this
my typical day starts out with some mild cardio I go on the treadmill for like 10 or 12 minutes for a walk
then I do squats with warm-ups then I go heavy 2 to 3 plates
then I will...
I have hip problems due to my time in the Army. they want to eventually do a hip replacement but i am only 45 and i don’t want to do it yet. Which of these squats would be okay for me to do from the list below?
Split squat.
Hack squat.
Barbell front squat.
Barbell back squat.
Dumbbell squat.
What do you think about my leg day routine?
My gym has a lot of options and this is my setup
Squats 4-5 sets
Lunges 2-3 sets
Leg extensions 3 sets
Calf machine 5 sets then front of leg 3 sets
What else should i add or take out to work all the legs.
whenever I do things like squats or leg presses I feel a sharp pain going down my legs, it is weird
I went to my doctor and asked him about it and he wasn’t sure what it was and said to monitor it
does anyone go through this also and what could it be and how to fix?
I started working out at a smaller gym with in my neighborhood
it doesn't have much in the way of free weights but it will have to do for now until I can get back into my regular gym again
