That’s pretty frustrating. I’d want to see the exact reason listed on the denial before assuming bodybuilding was the cause. If the insurer based the decision on medications, lab results, or something documented in the medical records, there may be an appeal process. Medical Collections Services can also be useful for healthcare offices dealing with outstanding insurance and patient balances. Having the doctor provide supporting records and clarification could help. It’s also worth checking whether the decision was actually related to bodybuilding itself or to a specific medical condition or prescription associated with it.
