How much melanotan do I need ahead of a contest?

I'm gonna be competing in my first contest. Most of the competitors are doing spray tans, but I don't want to go down that route. It's too expensive, and also it really makes me sick. I can't sleep the night before after a spray tan. If that makes sense.
Can you recommend me melanotan dosage? I have kind of a light tan to fair skin. Do I need 30mg or should I order more and get 40 or 50mg?
