I have a lot of fat on my body, I think I weighed in at 320 pounds yesterday. Body fat was measured in the 30’s at the gym. My personal trainer said I should look into fat burner supplements that they sell at the gym. There are like 20 of them to choose from, how do I know which to pick?

No - you need to eat less crap. Simple.
 
Don't bother with those. If appetite control is your issue just go with the extremely cheap EC stack. If it is not appetite then just continue to work on diet.
