Yeh I think it helped a bit to be honest…I’ll be trying the same again tonight for chest and see how i go, I’ll have to pull carbs away from other meals, but arm is rather the gym performance while in a defecit

Finally starting to feel back in my rhythm, had a ripper Pull session yesterday followed by a great Leg session today.
Upped pre gym carbs slightly to 80g
Consisted of 4 rice crackers a banana and 10g of honey per rice cracker.

Each gym session getting better and better after this surgery, the DOMS are affecting me less to 🤣
I’ve recently added Hip Adductors into my leg day, and let me tell you you they burn like mad😅, I’m sure I’ll adapt and be able to lift heavier soon, only pushing 30kgs on it atm...
Pull day at gym today, motivation is high, but damn am I feeling sore 😅
6 weeks off will do that though.
I put on a couple kilos a n the recovery time, calories are back down to 2200 for the time being. Will check my weight weekly and adjust from there.

Back to the gym properly after 6 weeks off post hernia surgery.
Great to be back, strength dropped off a little but I’m also still not pushing 100% just yet, pushing about 75 - 80% just for now.

Majority of the workout felt fine, I tried a machine for overhead skull crushers for triceps and that put to much pressure on my core so I didn’t do it.

Took the wife to the gym for her 1st leg session,will be keen to see how she pulls up tomorrow😂 ( for me I genereally fell leg day 2 days after weirdly. )
