Growing Newb
What’s up everyone figured I’d kick this off with a quick intro before diving into logging. My name is Mike, I’m 33, about 5'11", currently sitting at 185 lbs. Been lifting for a good while now—around 8 years solid—with the usual ups and downs that life throws in. Training has always been my anchor, but I’ll be honest, the last year came with its distractions. Work stress, some personal stuff… you know how it goes. But I’ve locked back in recently and I’m chasing progress again with real intent.

Diet
I’ve cleaned things up lately. Nothing extreme or bro-science-heavy just whole foods, consistency, and tracking what matters. Hitting around 200g+ protein daily and slowly increasing calories to support growth without turning into a marshmallow. I’ve cut out alcohol and sugar-heavy junk, and I stick to water and black coffee for the most part.

Training
Currently running a 5-day split that mixes push/pull/legs with upper/lower structure. Works great for recovery while still pushing solid volume. Sessions are 60–75 minutes, focused on hypertrophy with a few heavy sets worked in for core lifts. Prioritizing back width and shoulder development right now, but overall aiming for symmetry and quality gains. Minimal cardio outside of walks and light incline treadmill post-workout a few times a week.

On the Enhancement Side
Tried a light SARMs run last year (Ostarine and Enclomiphene) kept it conservative, got some good recomp results, and recovered fine. Now I’m seriously looking into my first proper cycle, leaning toward a test-only setup (Test C at 250mg/week) to start clean and see how I respond. Bloodwork is in check and I plan to monitor everything closely throughout. Not trying to rush anything just want to do it right and stay healthy while leveling up

I might not post every single session, but I’ll definitely try to keep this log consistent. Even if it’s just weekly check-ins, I’ll make sure to update training, diet, and how things are progressing
Appreciate the support and looking forward to sharing the ride.
