Best needle length for Ventro Glute?

I was talking to someone who told me 1" is fine for thigh injections, but the ventro glute has a deeper fat pocket, and I may need to use a 1 1/4" needle to make sure I get the NPP deep enough into the muscle where the depot should be, with 1 inch it is hit or miss. Has anyone else tried a longer needle? he said it is counter intuitive, but longer needle equals less pip.

1" inch is fine for most people in the ventro glute but if you carry more fat there then a 1.5 pin can help you actually reach the muscle and that alone can reduce pip. Try the longer pin if you’ve had hit or miss depth because NPP feels cleaner when it is fully intramuscular. @knarfster

hanks, I may go back to trying the thigh. I understand first time stick is the worst and it gets better. I have been doing Test C in just the Left thigh for years and it's fine. Nut with NPP and MAST P in the mix I need to rotate. more.
