best workout in the morning?

I'm looking for what is best in the morning for fat loss. should i do cardio or weights and which will increase metabolism for the longest so i can start burning fat. someone said not to do weights in the morning cause your joints aren't lubricated and your muscles aren't warmed up yet, so they recommend only cardio

I run my full routine in the morning.

Always cardio first thing: 30-90mins (depends on intensity).

weight training (if I have the time) sometimes I’ll stack this in the afternoon but I’m a sucker for fasted anything.
