Friend struggling with kratom

One of my best friends and workout partners was using some form of Keaton post workout called Opia. Name was enough for me to pass on giving it a go but he continued singing its praises for the pain relief and energy boosting affects and started, I guess you could say micro dosing it before a workout. This was 4 months ago. He stopped replying to my messages and calls and I haven’t heard from him consistently in about 2 months. He said he was using it daily and crushing it into his pre workout drink. His wife just left him. He has developed a severe addiction to this shit and blew through his savings, all while keeping it hidden from his own wife, let along friends and family. He is going to rehab Monday. He has to be clean for 7 days before they will admit him for opiate addiction. This is just a warning to watch out for that shit guys. It’s called 7-oh. 7 hydroxymytraganine. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!

yeah its not necessary to mess with those types of things. we have access to much better options

Bros, I remember a dude used to use it. He said that it cured his pain in his hands but at what cost I don't know.

Thanks for the heads up. I've never tried it before and it's not something that I would mess with.

Kratom is trash. its a very dangerous thing to use for this reason
