I ordered Omega Lab products from NapsGear, and according to USPS the package was delivered to my mailbox on June 26th shortly before 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, when I cleaned out my mailbox on July 8th, it wasn’t there.
I live in a mobile home community where all of the mailboxes are clustered together in one location, so I think it’s possible the mail carrier accidentally placed it in someone else’s mailbox.
Yesterday I went to my local USPS office and spoke with a supervisor to start a search for the package. I gave them all of my contact information, and they’re looking into it. I’m also asking Amelia from NapsGear for details about what the package looked like (size, packaging, labels, etc.) because I think that information could help USPS identify it if it was misdelivered. So far, Amelia has told me that because USPS marked it as delivered, there isn’t much they can do.
Has anyone here gone through a USPS missing package investigation after a package was marked as delivered? Were you ever successful in getting USPS to compensate you if it was determined to be misdelivered?
Also, has anyone had NapsGear compensate or reship an order in a situation like this?
I’ve been ordering from NapsGear for about 10 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue like this. Any experiences or advice would be appreciated.
