psyllium husk daily?

should i be taking psyllium husk daily and what can i mix with it? right now I am mixing it with water and it is making me choke and getting stuck in my teeth. trying to eat it raw is a bad idea. is this stuff really necessary?
 
You should take psyllium husk daily 5 grams per day at least. i would just straight drink it with water don't add anything to it.
