steroid side effects permanent for women?

I am a bit confused and maybe you ladies who have tried steroids can educate me a bit. I read that steroids can give both men and women side effects, but with men those sides go away but with women they can be permanent. what is the difference between the sexes as to why steroids effect either gender different?

if you get virilization, which is something like deepening of the voice for example, that will not go away as a female.. those are the kind of side effects being mentioned... females getting male attributes

agree with everything above

plenty of men have permanent issues especially things like reproductive problems, that is why you see so many guys on TRT before they are even 35 or 40! steroids fucked them up. also men have hidden dangers like organ and prostate problems. a lot of times they get cancer years earlier than they would have because of steroids.

so yes if affects both sexes but it is more hidden with men and since people never get bloods done, get their hearts checked or get a proper prostate exam they wouldn't know. sadly many guys even on this forum have prostate cancer cells growing and don't even know it and a doctor sticking his finger up your ass isn't going to properly find that out

Really tough questions to answer because it depends on the individual. If these side effects creep up it is best to stop using immediately and see if it can be reversed.

The side effects can be permanent for both. Generally speaking though, virilization (manifestation of masculine characteristics) is exceedingly unwanted. Conversely, most men don't particularly care for gynocomastia.
