what are your secrets when it comes to using spices to liven up plain chicken I got so used to eating fast food chicken and fried chicken that plain chicken just doesn't taste good to me anymore. I'm looking for some help when it comes to cooking it to where it taste good

I was wondering how to control blood sugar because mine is getting kind of high. Some days it goes up over 112-115 area. I don't think I'm eating that bad. I might have fast food once every few days and I don't eat that much sweets. Any tips that I can follow to help me
