6X a week too much?

Is weight training 6 times a week too much for my body or can I get away with it?
I’m 22 years old and growing up we did not have access to weights in my school. now. I am in college there is a weight room but it is Tiny and its been closed the whole time until recently
so now I'm starting to work out in there. I see guys in there working out only a couple times a week. They aren't really getting the results. I want to get results should I workout more often?
 
depends on your volume and max etc. over training at 22 might seem okay but it can cause issues as you get older with body wearing down. i wouldn't do it year round, you can do it in the short term
