any room for ice cream?

So I started dating this girl and she has a daughter. Her daughter is 5 years old and loves going out for ice cream. Its become our thing to do while her mom is working so I take her to the ice cream shop and let her pick something out. Would it be okay for me to also engage in ice cream a few times a week too? Or is that a no-no? I’m trying to cut down
