anyone heard of DASH diet?

i have high blood pressure and my heart health is crap. I do workout and I do eat as good as I can but someone recommended I look into the DASH diet which is designed to help with blood pressure. it centers around lowering the amount of sodium intake you get and eating low fat options of proteins along with produce.

Red flag right there. NO YOU DON'T. Ergo don't start looking at diets if you pissing about
 
Going to have to read into it, so many diets always pop up it's hard to keep track of all of them.
 
With high BP you really want to eliminate sugar. You would have to go crazy with the sodium for it to be the culprit. That is old school research. The new school is showing that sodium without sugar is not a problem. The more and more we see about sugar and processed carbs the worse they get!
 
Sodium needs balanced properly. You dont want too little or too much. High BP usually comes from bad diet related to high fat intake more often times than not. I've seen people on Keto with zero carbs skyrocket their bp just because of all the fat they are consuming
 
you don't need a special diet to lower sodium intake. cook your own meals and dont use salt... no brainer
