Approved Log Deathshead81 - Cardarine and Rad 140 Cycle Log

Better late than never. Finally getting around to posting my log. I am 41 years old, 6' 0" and 198 lbs. I don't know my current body fat. This is my first time doing a sarms cycle. I started this cycle October 31st. Cardarine 10 mg and Rad 140 5 mg. November 12th i bumped up Rad 140 to 10 mg. My diet consists of Chicken, fish (tilapia, salmon), white rice, turkey, beef, Oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, potatoes and mixed greens. Also 50 mg whey protein powder. I consume 2,200 calories daily. I train 5 days a week. I do chest/triceps, back/biceps, legs, shoulders. Cardio 3 times a week, abs 3 times a week. I recently within the past month experiencing pain in my shoulders to wear it was affecting my sleep. Got prescribed methylprednisolone. Going to get an x ray then mri. I have laid off exercises that put stress on my shoulders. Anything else needed to add to the log, feel free to inform and I will add it.

catabolic steroids are not a smart idea to use especially as a weightlifter

if your shoulder is in pain then you need to stop training. PERIOD

you take a catabolic steroid like MP and what will happen is the pain will go away like magic, but the injury will continue to get worse and worse. not smart at all. and the sides from MP's are horrific and can be permanent.

also sounds to me you have a torn cuff, an xray does you no good and an MRI needs to be looked at by a specialist. when you tear a cuff that bad and continue to train on it then it will completely tear and you will end up needing a very risky and complicated surgery. been there and done that. i can no longer lift heavy FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
 
Yeah that's what I told my doctor, I just wanted an mri, but do to insurance, I will need to do an x ray first. That's exactly what I don't want, surgery. I will quit training my upper body until I figure out what's going on. I will just stick with legs, and and cardio. Also looking into physical therapy. Thank you for the advice.

what will happen next is they will send you to physical therapy, which is pretty pointless considering you already are strong around the shoulder. you don't need to strengthen your shoulder at this point. you need rest.

but the doctor who put you on pred is an idiot. obviously he has no experience with athletes. i would see a doctor who sees professional athletes in your city. the one i went to works with major league baseball players. he levelled with me and told me the truth which is you have to stop destroying your shoulder, it has to fill in with scar tissue because right now imagine a huge hole in your shoulder leaking out inflammation. the pred is just shutting that inflammation off, but it isn't healing a thing. when you keep training and using PED's what will happen next is that hole will grow to the point where it will need surgery. see Drew Brees. this will be a 1 year rehab process and that is assuming you have access to the same doctors those guys do. if not then do what i did and stop training for a while, work on MOBILITY and flexibility . go to yoga for 3 months, then gradually come back to weights but don't go heavy. it worked for me beautifully

when i interviewed frank zane on my podcast he said the biggest mistake he sees guys make is overtraining shoulders. he is spot on. we pound our shoulders way too much then they can handle when we weight train and we don't stretch or work on mobility at all. hence why tears happen

please share actual meals what you eat daily not just overall food

and please share your training sets reps as you do them daily not just end results, we need more details
