how to improve squats?

Nioledi

Newbie
My squats are really weird.
Seems like the more I train them the more I fall behind
I was able to do over 400 lbs and now I’m barely getting 375
but I’m training them hard at least once or twice a week
what is a good strategy to improve my squats and get them stronger without continuing to fall behind?

do deadlifts and work on leg extensions as well

focus on proper form and not how much weight you're doing

asked to grass is the most important you want to make sure you're doing it correctly

make sure you keep your feet grounded and you have a spotter behind you

you just gotta keep it going I would do squats once a week and be consistent

want someone to do that you're gym that know what they're doing and ask them for tips

A good strategy could be to incorporate some variety into your training like adding in different squat variations (front squats, box squats, etc.), focusing on accessory exercises (like lunges, step ups, or glute bridges), and maybe deloading every few weeks to let your body recover. Also, make sure you’re focusing on recovery sleep, nutrition, and mobility work can play a big role in keeping progress steady. Mix it up and listen to your body
