how to lift light for more gains?

I'm looking for some weight training advice. I'm interested in lifting light to make more gains. Do you think that I should go high repetitions and lower weight? I was thinking, for example, on bench press going at 200 pounds but doing maybe 20 or 25 repetitions. Do you think this is a good strategy to get more gains or should I try something else?

Sometimes lifting lighter is smart. You won't end up with injuries, and you'll stay healthier longer.

Why does everything have to be black or white? Why don't you mix up your training? Do some light lifting and do some heavy lifting instead of just doing one or the other.
