Let’s say I’m ordering this tren (This is an example) when I’m trying to buy I understand you need coin base right. When I select the bitcoin option that’s it. Nothing else is prompted for me to put in any other information, to actually pay for the product. How do you actually pay? Is there a step that happens after you confirm your order!? Who can help me put an order in?

So you place the order then they send you an email with an address? Then you send the money from your coin base to the addy and that’s that?

certain sites let you purchase instantly... coinmama is one of them

BTC takes time but it's anon once it leaves your wallet. It's worth the wait and the wait is only 1 time, it comes easier later once you fund your account. D-S is a golden source so you made the right choice, I'm doing their tren now.

6 days is a long time, i use coinbase and didn't have to wait that long. it could also be your bank.. certain banks aren't fans of bitcoins and make it difficult cause they are worried about over drafts

Went through. It took 1 full day and a half for USAA transfers to coinbase

Can some one help me out once again (Sorry). I put 280 dollars and converted them to bitcoin on coin base. Made an order, went to pay on the app and it’s literally telling me I have 8 cents to trade with. When I’m not trading it shows my full amount. What did I do wrong? My order was 0.0286 and I have more than enough at 0.0297 but for some reason when I try and send money it says I have practically no funds... anyone deal with this issue when they started using BTC? Thank you

You can ask support But it looks like your BTC haven't landed on your account. Wait until Monday once your wallet is funded you can transfer. It's like paypal balance, you need to add the paypal balance before you can send the money, but seems your account isn't funded yet. maybe a few days needed.

What happened was the coinbase purchase charged my bank account so I thought I was able to trade right away but.. Like you said it shows that my BTC will be available in 4 days. This Bitcoin is all new Uncharted territory for me. The 8 cents that it was showing me was free, the market was up fluctuating last night like it does all day, now I know. Thanks Sambee

Here's what I've learned about Coinbase since I've been using it for a while now. Bank transfers to buy BTC will have a holding period but if you purchase with a debit card the BTC will be purchased immediately.

Just be patient. Yours seems to just take a little longer than some others.

Coinbase is pretty awful to be honest. When you make your first purchase regardless of the payment method, they hold it from you for quite a few days the first time which is unacceptable in my opinion. They didn't hesitate to charge you, but then they refuse to release the crypto you purchased. (Wire transfers will always have a hold even on future purchases though). I switched to CashApp, and they have lower fees and far faster service.
