This is my 1st log with Anabolex
Quick intro.


I didn’t come into this scene in good shape physically or mentally. I was overweight, unhealthy, low energy, low libido and honestly in a pretty dark headspace. I’d lost all motivation, confidence, and direction.

The moment that hit me hardest was hearing my 13-year-old daughter say,

“Dad doesn’t want to spend time with me anymore.”

That was the punch in the gut I needed. Not because it was true but because I realised that’s how my inaction looked. I wasn’t present. I was tired, flat, disconnected.

So I got bloods done and realised pretty quick my hormones were out of whack and probably holding me back more than I thought. Around the same time I was already sick of carrying extra weight, so I stopped overthinking it and just got in the gym. No master plan — just train, move more, and start pulling things back together.

I cleaned up my Instagram feed (best thing I’ve done in a while) and suddenly it wasn’t all junk — started seeing a lot more performance and health stuff. That’s what dragged me into the peptide rabbit hole. Spent a few months just lurking, reading forums, trying to separate bullshit from what actually works before touching anything. Eventually pulled the trigger and decided to run retatrutide during this cut.
The deeper I went, the more I realised I’d barely scratched the surface. There’s a whole underground side to this I had no idea about. Came across UGL OZ through forum threads and that was a bit of a wake up call to how big it actually is.

Since then I’ve stopped half-assing it. Linked up with a legit coach and recently started working with @Coach S. Everything’s structured now — training, food, the lot. No more guessing, no more “I’ll see how I go.” Just sticking to the plan and getting it done.

Wow man this is deep and I can imagine how that felt.

What a turn around man you are doing amazing you look great, stay healthy for them.

By end of 2026 you wont even recognise yourself.
Yeh it wasn’t a nice feeling. Definitely kicked me into gear though thankfully.

I’ve been getting hungry from adding the EQ in so I’ve dialled up the Reta to 3mg a week just to keep the hunger from making me stray away from the macros.

Weekly macros have been as such:
2000 calories
180 - 220 carbs ( carbs higher on workout days )
200g protein
40g fat

Friday night pull session:
( will just list working sets not feeders )

- Lat Pulldowns:
75kg for 9 Reps

- Reverse Grip Lat Pulldown:
54kg for 12 reps

- ISO Lateral Low Row:
100kg for 6 reps

- Straight arm Lat Pulldown:
45kg for 10 reps

- Rear Delt Reverse Fly: ( Machine )
61kg for 10 reps

- Bicep Curl: ( Dumbbell )
17.5kg for 6 reps

- Hammer Curl: ( Cable )
45kg for 10 reps

- Shrugs: ( Dumbbell )
40kg for 7 reps

Strength is holding nicely even during this defect. It’s slowly gone up in some areas probably due to the Anavar. I’ve only got 5 days left of Var and that will finish the Var cycle, I am looking forward to finish the Var as I’ve found it’s dried out my joints a little especially my elbows

I’m very much looking forward to starting the reverse so I can eat a bit more and start getting some strength and start this growth phase aswell

I should have my reverse and growth plans soon from @Coach S - So when I do I’ll drop them here for you to peruse.

I’ll still be remaining relatively low doses of test and EQ till I see how I react to going from 150mg a week to 200mg Test.

I was Previously at a TRT clinic but I was getting dicked around to much and paying to much for basic blood panels and paying to much for a vial of test itself. So I decided to go self managed plus with the help of my coach we will get it dialled in 💪🏻

Yeh look I’m glad I started at the clinic, it opened up this new world to me. But after dealing with them for a few months you can tell you’re just a number in their system. Getting a coach and starting self managed is going to be far superior

Jumped on the scales and still sitting at 73kg so no weight gain from an untracked weekend. Didn’t touch booze and was conscious of calories but still enjoyed my time with the wife and mates for a weekend away.

The best meal was the 🦘Kangaroo Backstraps at the wedding, it absolutely just melted in your mouth.

I’ve also found a gym this arvo while been away, so I got a cheeky Push sesh in and hit a PB on Incline Dumbell Press.

30kg dumbbells for 6 reps…was pumped as. Especially being this deep into the cut and nearly into the Reverse💪🏻
