Tips for better squatting

Newbie
So i am looking to get better with squatting at the gym. I never really used to train my legs as much as my upper body
I’m looking though to improve my core, upper back, glutes, and quads.
This is why i want to learn about different squat variations
how many of you do good mornings? also what about weighted split squats and breathing paused squats? are these all good exercises to increase my leg power and also core strength

but I only do hack squats

good mornings fine but lighter weight and controlled imo. DO reg squats and Front squats and work on control and depth. slow the reps. 10-12 rep set should take 30 secs plus
 
Agree 25homes. Reminds me I need to work in those front squats. Slow and controlled, don't need heavy weight. No weight belt so your core is working. (Practice good form and warm up with just bar) Box squats always seem to hit deeper for me.
