Anyone else have a Bad Septum on a vial like this?

This is a vial of 150mg/ml NPP from Beligas (Code checked out). My first vial had really bad scaring from using a 20 ga needle to draw, but lasted the whole vial. But this one tore completely after only 3 pins. My Pharmaqo vials and US-Pharmacies vial Septums are a much better material and much larger surface area.

Septums?? That's like the bit of flesh in your nose. Most call what you're referring to as a 'rubber stopper'.

Septum is the actual term for the Rubber stopper. 20 ga for draw is not huge, some people draw with 18. All my other gear has much better "stoppers".

rubber stoppers can break over time brother that can happen

i've had this issue come up every now and then. not really a huge deal though. you can always transfer to the oil to a fresh vial

what is in the vial is more important then the stopper.

It happens. You don't want to get any of the rubber into the actual gear itself. Maybe time to switch vials.
