fitting in running and weight training

I have been religiously running 2 miles every morning for the past month and now my gym is opening back up and i'm a bit worried that it will hurt my workouts to continue doing this, especially on leg days. should i continue running 2 miles each morning or should i transition away to focus on weight training?
 
i used to do a lot of cardio and a lot of weights together. i was able to get away with it but then as i got older my body started to break down from over training. if you want to be a great runner then run. if you want to lift weights then lift. you can do both but within reason
 
i have been doing 10 miles per day and weight training for over a decade.. its all about how you eat along with it or what your goals are... 2 miles a day really isnt that much and it definitely shouldnt hurt your legs on leg day
 
I'm not really a big fan of running, so I typically do and hour and 30 of weights and 30 minutes of uphill cardio at a moderate pace, seems to work great for me
 
You just have to find that balance. I'm not a runner but if that's your thing then it's your thing
