how long to take between sets if you are powerlifting?

I work out at a gym that’s pretty busy and usually have to wait 15 or 20 minutes to get a bench press or the squat rack. Once in there usually people are breathing down your neck trying to get in so I try and work in with people as much as I can.
My question is I want to transition to more powerlifting do you need to take more time in between your sets if you powerlift where I can let people work in with me maybe 2 or 3 guys or do you still take a minute or less in between your sets even when you’re going heavy?
 
if there is a line to wait for people then you need to learn the working with them
 
make sure you take a good 4 or 5 minutes to give your muscles a chance to rest
 
it can take your muscles a few minutes to regenerate after a hard set
