If you want a cheap non-stim pre workout try
1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp honey in 24oz of water about an hour pre-workout. The honey is a good fast acting carbohydrate for energy the salt boosts hydration and the baking soda provides a buffer for lactic acid build up and let's you push the reps a little higher or get am extra set in before you get the burn from the lactic acid buildup. You can add up to a 1/2 tsp of baking soda for more lactic acid buffer but you should start low to make sure it doesn't upset your stomach. I use this pre-workout on weeknights if I'm hitting the gym late because my raw thavage pre-workout will keep mu up half the night if I take it too late. It's not quite the same a high stim pre-workout but it definitely helps you get through the workout without all the caffeine.
