Hey all, some background

39 year old male strength and conditioning coach, with 27 years under the bar and 21 years coaching professionally. 1 year on TRT @ 220 mgs a week and .75 arimidex. Didn’t realize that all my shitty decisions in my 20’s would leave me in the hormone shitter, but such is life.

Since the start of HRT, I’ve experimented with a few peptides that I truly enjoyed. Tesamorelin/ipamorelin and retatrutide low dose have been absolute game changers. Blood work has never been better.

I train 7 days a week. 5 days in the weight room and 7 days steady state cardio.

Not currently on any cycle but am potentially interested in boosting the TRT to a TRT + for short spurts throughout the year, as long as health markers stay in check.

Happy to answer any questions you might have about my training approaches, nutrition and the such, and am open to any suggestions/discussions around peds and peptides. 💪

To start id like to tell you that to help you become the best we need to know more about you and your TRT and to learn more about you, how?
this is easy, you need to start a NEW thread with your LOG journal share your TRT training diet sleep supps and more and anabolex fam will help and guide you

HOW-TO LOG?
  • To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

I used to run 4 miles a day for years, but the toll it takes on your body fatigue wise is too fucking great. I switched over to using the rower… much easier on my body, so much less impact.

Will alternate Monday-Friday
35 min on. Every 2 1/2 min do a max effort 30 sec burst.

45 min steady state no burst

Saturday/Sunday long cardio ~90min

That’s the only time of my week I watch TV so if you guys have any good shows to ease the pain, lemme know haha.

Heading to do the long cardio now before clients all day.

Sure for the running I understand just completed a 3 month preparation for a marathon and you right the fatigue than but on the body is crazy now just light run every morning on treadmill

Yeah it becomes very hard to juggle when you’re asking your body to do two completely different things daily. I guess you live you learn right ?

@gil3286 Bros the body capable of doing a lot of things, you would be surprised. It's all about training it to do what you want. If you sit on the couch, eating potato chips, you'll be trained to sit on the couch Eat potato chips. If you train for a marathon, you'll be trained for Marathon. Just go for it.

Yes right for me was good learning than if you want perform at running need to focus on running but as bodybuilding is my main sport running and cycling for me will be more efficient either more days on zone 2

Agree with you however for me I can say than I already train 3 times a day then I saw that go to overtraining specially when you are 40+ years old is not so productive need to consider recovery days ( mean low intensity cardio) more cleaver but just my experience

@gil3286 we all make bad decisions in life. we all wish we had a time machine. unfortunately if you spend your life wishing you could go back you will end up never cherishing it and you will end up just as dead as someone who did. so might as well enjoy it
