bodybuilding routine for newbie ideas

I'm very new to the whole bodybuilding scene. I would like to put together a good bodybuilding routine. What would you recommend that I put together? Should I start with a pushing and pulling split where I do things like squats on my pushing day and things like hamstring curls on my pulling day? Or should I do more of a 3-5 day split?
 
It's important as a newbie not to train the way professionals train. You see professionals in videos throwing weights around like crazy. That's definitely not what you want to do. You'll get injured.
