is cardio before lifting weights a mistake?

I was reading and talking to people. Seems to be a lot of debate on this topic. Long story short, is cardio before lifting weights a mistake? Or is it okay to do? I wanted to do 30 minutes of cardio, get in a little sweat, then hit about 20 sets of weights. What do you think?
 
I don't think cardio before lifting weights is a mistake. It's a good warm-up.
 
I think you'll do fine with cardio before, lifting weights. It actually will help you stretch.
