last meal and sleep

This is a serious diet question that I have researched and have ran into conflicting information from what people believe. well i would like to know what your opinions are about this on here? it seems like some like to eat right before bed and some like to eat a few hours before to let things settle.

I dont suggest eating at least 6 hours before bed so your stomach is clean and HGH can go up as you sleep.

everyone is different... i have eaten oatmeal and egg whites pre bed for over a decade and during this time ive been in by far my best condition... there is no real right or wrong answer because as i pointed out, everyone is different

if you want to take full advantage of recovery/repair you don't want your stomach to have to digest food while you sleep.

some foods are harder to digest then others as well. I usually go to sleep around 10:30 so my last food or water intake is at 7pm. i might have a sip of water after that but nothing more. i want my body to be in full repair mode when i sleep

and another trick is evacuate before bed. you want to urinate and defecate as much as you can to clear out your body. this will help your sleep tremendously

Sleep is for your body and mind to recover and repair. If you are still digesting food at that time, your body is not able to do those things. I would not eat anywhere close to bed time. At least 4 hours before hand for me.

I crush food prior to sleep and I even wake up in the middle of the night to get sugars/carbs in again.

It’s really up to you. Listen to your body.

But what time in the morning do you eat?

If your trying to gain mass crush a protein shake with casein protein. Hell do two scoops and add some pb2 powder plus half a banana. If your trying to lose weight just eat less than yesterday. Not sure about the the optimization of that but I feel fine when I do this

But do I eat before bed or not? thats the issue. I'm not sure if I will get fat doing that. LOL dont want to be fat muscle

My last meal before bed is usually 6ounces ground turkey, 10 ounces of potato’s and a table spoon of olive oil on it lol I eat heavy about an hour before bed.
