Hey all. Lifted 6 days this week. Took today off (Sunday) but every session went to failure and was productive. Yesterday's (Saturday) was the best all week. Was gonna take the whole weekend off but figure if I'm on gear I need to be pushing extra hard right?
Went in Saturday morning to bench and came DAMN near my PR. My PR is 305 but haven't even gotten close to that in about 5 years. I hit 300 for a single! It's only been a little over a week on the deca so I'm not sure if it can be kicking in that quick or if it's a placebo thing or if it's just that starting gear has really kicked up my determination. Either way, I'm fucking pumped about this. I'm easily gonna pass my PR soon. Here's the numbers for Saturday. Finished the session out with some shoulder work. The dumbells were light but believe me I was pretty smoked after benching and that's about all the weight I could handle afterwards.

Diet has been pretty much the same. Ran out of chuck so been eating lots of pork tenderloin in tacos and rice bowls. Last night was pizza night so had to put down some extra shakes for the lack of meat, but still getting over 250g protein a day. Had some whiskey too cos I couldn't help myself but it was pizza night so fuck it. Wasn't much though. Just a little.
