Sleep wasn't good at all. I ended up having a bit more of a sleep / nap the Garmin didn't track before I came out to work tonight.
Today's energy, mood and feel was the worst I've felt in a long time probably since I was 130kg. Still managed to get to the gym but was a very flat feeling gym session and ending up cutting it short at the end with my cardio.

Sooo I'm doing 2 x days refeed and then seeing how 1500cal a day will go for me moving forward pending Reta's influence. Was a struggle to down the calories tonight but hoping some higher cals will help offset the issues I had today.

Knock off time in 30 mins and straight to bed hopefully can try nail a better sleep.

Sucks to hear about the sleep. And yeah on days like that just going to gym and getting through the workout is good enough, hopefully you'll get in more sleep over the weekend
 
Waist down another 2cm to 119 (from 130 start) and hips at 105, the measurements don't lie mate.

One thing I noticed, your Omega 3 is at 1500mg total. For the lipid support we talked about after your bloods, you really want 2-3g of actual EPA/DHA per day which usually means 4-6g of fish oil caps depending on the brand. Worth checking the label on yours and bumping the dose if needed.
I'll have a check when I get back home on Tuesday to see what it is. I put all my capsules for the week in a container when I head out here haha

Rest day for extra sleep is a smart call mate. Sleep is so underrated for fat loss, when cortisol stays elevated from poor sleep it literally stalls progress. Get the zzz's in and come back fresh, your body will thank you for it

Recap:

Having a complete rest day was a good call got my extra sleep in and that's a good sleep for out here at work just quietly.

First day trying to stick with some higher calories @ 2500 wasn't too bad, came close but the reta definitely suppressed it a lot for me.

Had a fair bit of spare time at work tonight so decided to read up on some things like Finasteride & minoxidil & ketoconazole for potential hair loss with trt as I dive into all of that. I’ve got I guess a generic white guy receding hair line not too bad and I do well to cover it with my current hair I’ve got. But it is slowly going & thinning.

So I want to know my options when I do get on TRT to keep the hair in check. Or I’ll just fly to turkey 😂

Minoxidil is quite good at slowing down any hair loss. It depends what compounds you are running, if its just test it hopefully shouldn't recede too quickly.

If you are running harder stuff then yet a trip to turkey might be in order haha, the good news is with a hair transplant the hairs transplanted are from the back/side of your hear and those hairs are hormone resistant so should hold permanently.

Waist is the money metric brother, tape doesn't lie even when the scale plays games. 2cm off the waist AND 1cm off the hips in a week is massive, that's real fat loss right there. Keep stacking these consistent days mate 💪

Yeah seems I can catch it after reading up on it more. As in if the test does cause some hair loss issues it won't be rapid and I can address at the time of by the looks.

That's good to know I didn't realise that! If it gives me an excuse to head over there ill just do the whole kit & caboodle new teeth and hair 😂

Didn't get to track sleep last night on the Garmin it was still in nightshift mode.

My weight has gone up from 111.3 > 111.9 more then likely due to the refeed and upping my calories is my guess.

Diet I'm happy with and the macros. I will monitor very closely this week and see how my weight is tracking every day on the scale.

Had an absolute massive arm day today with heaps of volume. Had a little soreness after the session on my left bicep so I pinned 500mcg of tb & bpc directly into my shoulder & can already feel that improving straight away!

Added more omega 3 & coq10 to my daily supplement list along with RGSX elite gut health

Very normal brother for a slight rebound. Remember that carb holds more water so it's easily water weight that you're seeing.

Are you tracking the weight as weekly average or was 111.9 today's weight?

I have every confidence that if you maintain 2200 calories you will guarantee lose weight because your current BMR is likely higher. The only reason you won't is if you sat still all day and not move.

Also remember that your lean tissue is now growing more. It could also be the result of your training. The newbie gains are kicking in!

Give it time to adjust.
