During the lockdown I have been eating tuna a lot out of the can and am starting to really like it for the first time in my life. It seems to be a good source of protein and I've been eating like 2 cans a day eating it with bread, salad, and even right out of the can. Is this is a wise idea or am i over doing it too much?
the problem with fish out of the ocean is plastics and mercury
the problem with fish that are farm raised is they are fed slop and given hormones to grow faster. plus all those chemicals pollute the environment
sadly there are no more healthy fish options, your best bet is catching your own fish from either a clean stream/lake free of pollution or the ocean but only in moderation. i will do this during fishing season but eat fish once a week at most
I used to eat a lot of tuna but over the past few years I have decreased the amount of protein I consume. I was overdoing it. I would say now that my main sources of protein are eggs, grassfed beef, and chicken.
