wasting money on vitamins?

I’ve been taking multivitamins for the past year and I haven’t really noticed anything of any benefit from them
I’m wondering am I wasting my money taking these vitamins or is there any purpose and using them?
Also do you recommend I take something that would help give me some better results?

vitamins work but the right ones
