weight training with a broken leg

Recently broke my leg during a fall down the stairs. Luckily, it wasn’t anywhere worse. I’ve been dedicated to the gym for the past 10 years and never went to work out. So this is devastating for me. I was wondering if I can still wait train even through a broken leg, would I be able to train the other leg and the upper body or should I just take off entirely?
