working out for bulking

how would you change up your workouts if you wanted to bulk up instead of getting leaner?
I’m currently 5’9’’ and 166 pounds
I am doing 15-17 sets per workout and like 12 reps per set
should I increase my sets and lower my reps?
 
do both in the same workout. start out with low reps and then do drop sets.

bulking up doesn't mean getting fat. bulking up means gaining muscle in my mind

if you want to bulk
you need less sets
more weights
and less reps
do big lifts too like bench squat deadlift
 
do a lot of bench and squats
 
Its more about diet fir bulking than anything. Jist stay in hypertrophy range. Heavy enough weight you can do 8 to 12 reps

Yep. Both. More compound and less isolation work
