Approved Log My Journey to a better life Log

Yeah man I let myself go for couple years after had kids again at 43 and lost a lot of muscle and pep. For me it's discipline when you get older as opposed to you just had the high energy to get at it before. Make a must do work out plan and stay with it. Don't heal like use to so I do EOD and BJJ or spar at least once a week. If I miss two days because of schedule I will force two days in a row to make up. You should be able to heal quicker and do more than that on gear though! Good luck!
 
Great start to the log man. Congrats on quitting alcohol and the progress on getting body fat down! I am definitely in to follow your progress.

Yeah stupid low, after getting tested I believe having your hormones tested as a man should be something doctors do automatically yearly. Think so many men get diagnosed with depression , even diabetes and other issues when it could just be low test which need monitoring.

Have noticed healing and recovery is a lot better on test but still too old to fight.

Diet currently on 1750 to 1850cal per day
With a 50/25/25% P/C/F macro breakdown

Focusing on whole foods meat and vegetables with use of protine shake

Normal day would look like
Breakfast - 150g egg white and max shred system shake

After breakfast meal - 150 to 200g chicken breast and salad

Lunch turkey breast mince and salad maybe boiled egg

Snack shake and apple or maybe banana or Greek yogurt with protine powder

Dinner 200g chicken breast or red meat with salad or hot vegetables steamed

After dinner - maxs anabolic nights shake or light greek yogurt with p powder

@Trespassing_minds not bad but you should be upping omega 3 fats for sure, you light on the fats which will cause longer term issues
how about adding some nuts or avocado?
 
so quick update being school holiday got my little fuck trophies at home and Wife working so throws out my morning routine of Gym after school drop off. I am not a massive fan of training at night as finds it effects my sleep so will be focusing on my steps and some light resistance band work between working from home and looking after the kids.

Weight in this morning at 96.1kg

Diet yesterday (1595 Calories 289g protein 48g carbs 25g fat )
  • Breakfast
    • 0.3ml of Test E and 5mg Tadalafil
    • 150g Egg white with 20g light tasty cheese
    • max;s shred system chocolate protein with water
  • after breakfast meal
    • 250g prawns
    • max's shred system chocolate protein with water
  • Lunch
    • 200g chicken breast steak soy bbq
    • 86g asparagus
  • dinner
    • Asian style salad kit - 100g
    • 280g chicken breast steak soy bbq
  • after dinner
    • double serve max's anabolic night protein with water

I keep reading conflicting information on fats when you are taking testosterone

As you no longer need the fats to help your hormones and should focus on your protein and carbs over fats


But always happy to hear more info and details
