Well….. we had early access codes to get into Hyrox Anaheim and still didn’t get in . Lame. We will try again when the regular sale opens up I guess . Other than that it was a good training day. I got in a lot of steps walking the dogs this morning and then I hit the gym for some extra movements.
4x8 1 1/4 split squat 45lbs
4x8 rdl 100lbs
4x3 hang snatch 75lbs

My snatch sucks lolol. The WOD was a killer but I ran 200s instead of biking because there wasn’t enough bikes and I so graciously offered to run instead(I fucking hate biking) . Overall time was 19min and my arms are wrecked haha. Heart rate hit 198 and I thought I may die but I’m still here

Great day of training today! I’m getting the hand stand walking down more and more and I’m trying to fix my muscle up form a bit. I also did some weighted pull ups today. I got 3 reps with 20lbs! We did a back squat progression and I ended with my 3 singles at 175 and I felt really strong, so we will see what my one rep is soon. The WOD was a killer today, felt like I was gonna die tbh.

I did RX and I finished in 24:32. . Work week starts tomorrow

Hyrox training day yall.

Rxed everything but the sled push was 175lbs, finished 8 rounds. Overall this workout felt good and kind of chill compared to the workouts I’ve done all this week lol. Also my partner and I got into Hyrox! So it’s on! December. Anaheim. LFG

Hit a class right after work and just kept it chill, just wanted to get some movement in.

I scaled my weight in the wod to 85 and just practiced my double unders. Felt good to get in and just get the blood flowing. I think my partner and I are going to start doing additional workouts for the upcoming Hyrox as well

Happy Monday! Back in the gym and it felt good to be there except I was having one of those frustrating days where it just felt like I couldn’t nail the movements I was practicing. I went into early to do muscle ups and hand stand walks and it just felt hard today. Then the workout was snatches, kill me lol.

For part one my bar was loaded with 75lbs and I finished in 6:16 and then for part two I slowly added and ended at 85lbs. This whole day just felt kind of off but that’s how it is sometimes . Tomorrow will be better!

I said tomorrow will be better….. AND IT WAS! Came in early and did a few movements:
Rdl 4x10 115
Reverse lunge 4x10 60lbs
Ab roll outs 4x10
Hand stand walks
Then I hit the wod. Started off with a front squat pr WOOOO, then it was a workout that was built for me(rope climbs are my jam).

Super happy with my front squat pr today and I did 6 rounds of the WOD. After the workout I practiced rope climbs from sitting position which has been a goal and then nailed it. Good ass day today.

Yo! Got in just a tad early and worked on my strict pull ups. I hit 3 reps with 25lbs weighted and continued to work on some hand stand walks. Didn’t have much time but figured something was better than nothing before class started . Today’s workout was unforgiving lol.

I did the rx weight but I did get cut off by the time cap with 4558m out of 5000m. I was super happy I was able to maintain the bench weight! Wish I could have finished though, it always bugs me when I get that close haha! Hyrox class tomorrow!

Pretty straight forward day today for the Hyrox workout.

I did rx weight and distance and honestly it wasn’t bad at all. The only thing that sucked was a the heat. 100+ today and even hotter tomorrow. But honestly after the last few workouts this felt pretty chill in comparison. Haha. See you tomorrow freaks!
