insulin pills vs. injections

Newbie
this is a crazy off the cuff question but thought i would check anyway. is it possible to take insulin pills instead of injecting it? i am going to use it and i don't want my gf finding out i am using this stuff or she will freak out lol. i don't know why insulin is legal to buy but nobody has come up with an insulin pill OTC?
 
You can take metformin instead of insulin but I suggest you stick to n2slin OTC unless you're a pro bodybuilder.
