Approved Log My 2024 summer cycle Log

I haven't really updated this log so here's my current situation. Earlier this year in February I wasnt feeling good, I thought I had the flu because I just felt run down and nauseous but not actually throwing up just an upset stomach. I toughed it out for about 3 days hoping I would start feeling better but towards the end of day 3 I was feeling like I was actually going to throw up and went into the bathroom and before I could even get to the toilet I projectile vomited bright red blood everywhere, I instantly felt dizzy and managed to get to the toilet to kneel down and the next thing I remember where paramedics standing over me trying to get me on a stretcher. My wife heard a loud thud and ran into the bathroom to what looked like a murder scene, I passed out hit my head and started seizing and vomiting blood while I was seizing, I'm lucky my wife is actually a nurse so even though she was scared she didn't panic. She called 911 on speaker while she rolled me on my side and put a rolled up towel under my head so i didn't keep bangingit on the ground, before the paramedics took me out of my house they checked my blood pressure and I was 54/70. After 4 days in the hospital, 2 blood transfusions, an MRI, CT Scan and several echocardiograms an endoscopy and a colonoscopy and full labwork every 2 hours they determined it had a upper GI bleed from a ruptured esophageal ulcer, mild colitis and the beginning stages of Barrett's esophagus, I also had sever iron deficiency anemia from the blood loss. 3 months after being released I was still anemic and had to get iron infusions. In the weeks follow my release from the hospital I dropped my test to 40mg a week and scheduled an appointment with my urologist and asked her to check my testosterone levels and as expected my total test was barely over 150ng/dl and she agreed to take over my TRT prescription. I had a prescription through an online clinic just so I had a script for traveling but it was ridiculously expensive for what I was getting out of it. Now with it going through my insurance I get 1 vial of test C 200 every 60 days from the Walgreens pharmacy for $3 a vial and all the Dr. Visits and labwork associated with it are 100% covered by my insurance. In about a week I'll be getting more labwork to show my urologist my dose is dialed in and then I will only have to do labwork for her every 6 months so I will be doing a test, anavar cut cycle at probably 300mg a week test and 20mg anavar dailey split 10mg morning and 10mg pre-workout. I put on about 15lbs, not being able to go to the gym and just feeling useless from the anemia had me pretty depressed and eating like shit but I'm probably about 85-90% now I've already been doing as much cardio as I can handle and dropped 5lbs and feel like I'm ready to ease back into lifting.
welcome back brother
@slim0983 we had our differences but you have all anabolex family support
You came through a rough stretch and you look ready to rebuild now brother
Keep TRT stable at the prescription dose and only add that 300mg test with 20mg anavar once your new labs show iron and liver markers clean because the bleed and anemia need full recovery first

@slim0983 man that is a crazy story. you didn't have any sort of clue what was going on inside your body prior? seems like bad luck to just have it pop up out of nowhere. also thank goodness you have insurance, in the USA something like this would have cost you 200K+

Bros reminds me of my plumbing accident. @slim0983 I come through ceiling. Ended up having to be in my bed for 2 years. Doctor said it was a miracle I even survived.

Do you know what caused it all?
Chronic acid reflux caused it, I've been dealing with acid reflux since I was in my 20's I've tried all the over the counter meds and nothing worked and had Dr's tell me I didn't need medication I just needed to fix my diet, so its just been something I have lived with. The acid reflux caused the barrets esophagus which a pre cancerous state where the lower portion of the throat mutates into basically stomach lining and if it progresses it turns into cancer. The area where the Barrett's esophagus is starting developed an ulcer and it ruptured. I just felt like I had acid reflux like I always did and then the nausea was from the blood draining into my stomach.
I now see a gastroenterolgist and she prescribed me protonix and nothing gives me heartburn anymore. I also have an endoscopy scheduled every year for the next 5 years to monitor the barrets esophagus, they think it was caught early enough that it will reverse itself once thr acid reflux is under control.

I'm very lucky I have insurance, the total for all the Dr bills was just over 180K and I was only responsible for 3K of that my insurance covered thr rest

@slim0983 It's amazing how we are 1 day away from being dead. It really makes you value your health. Also. That's cool that your testosterone is so damn cheap.

seems like you have something going on where you have that chronic reflux. a lot of times these problems are tough to treat cause they are INSIDE the stomach. so doctors pretty much have a low % of success treating them @slim0983

I would say that's a hell of a deal, man. Over the course of our lives we pay in so much for insurance. But in your case, it was well worth every penny.
