LOL at a pool being shut cos it was raining - you're gonna get wet regardless
think it has to do with a pool regulation: if you can’t see the bottom of the pool it’s not allowed to be open.
 
i used to be a lifeguard. pools must be closed when it rains for several reasons

1. lightning
2. slipper deck (this is the #1 reason)
3. contamination
 
I love swimming during a thunderstorm but I know it's dangerous because of the lightning
 
Swimming can be such great cardio and the best for joints.
Yes I definitely like benefits it gives my lungs aswell. I’m just ticked off since the outdoor pool was closed again for “weather inclements” however it was a perfectly sunny day lol
