New old guy - bodybuilding

I just thought I'd introduce myself before I start a log. I'm a male in my mid forties. I did drug free bodybuilding from 18 to 22 years of age and then my first cycle around 23. I've done maybe 3 cycles in my lifetime, the last being around 24 years old. I stopped around that time because finding a good paying job, buying a house, family and other priorities took over. Now that I'm older and have more free time I'm looking to sculpt my body once again. I never really got entirely out of exercising, it' just the types of exercises I've done have evolved over the years. I've really been into cycling the past 10 years.

I started strength training again, without gear, back at the beginning of October. I've just been focused on bulking up since then. My nutrition and supplementation are good. I'm getting at least 100 grams of protein just in supplement per day (shooting for the 1 g/lb rule). I work in a medical laboratory so it's hard for me to get more than 3 solid meals per day so I get what I can't from shakes. I'm keeping my calories on the lowish side right now because my body fat is a little high at 23%. I'm 5'9" and 185 lbs. I eat as much as my body craves right now, somewhere south of 2000 calories at the moment but will increase when on cycle.

I intend to start a turinabol and test e cycle once ugfreak delivers. I want the tbol to kick start the cycle but also I want to know how my body is going to respond to aromatization so I didn't want any other aromatizing substances at play. I've read that the "sweet spot" for muscle hypertrophy on test is anywhere between 3 mg/kg up to 6 mg/kg body mass per week. At 5 mg/kg I come in at about 425 mg per week. I intend to take tbol at 40 mg per day for 6 weeks then taper off into the 8th week. I intend to take the test 10 to 12 weeks, depending on sides, and then PCT with clomid and tamoxifen. I've already started a photo log of my progress naturally and it's been good but slow. I'm excited to get on a cycle but realize I still have room for improvement before starting (i.e. bodyfat %). I won't start the cycle until I feel everything is just right and I have all my ducks in a row. I want to make absolutely sure that I'm in the right headspace before I start. The very last cycle I ever did was with tren and I was an emotional train wreck on that stuff. I won't ever do tren again.

Sorry for the long post, just hoping to make some new pals on here and get some bodybuilding advice. I've already identified some areas of my body that need more bulk (upper chest, shoulders and bis) and some not so much (back and tris). I'll post some pics pre cycle to get some feedback on my physique and what areas to focus on. Thanks for reading.

welcome the anabolex crew welcomes you @quorumsense Before running anything you need to get a full training and diet log up ASAP because right now we do not know your real lifts, weekly volume, sleep, recovery, or how those under 2000 calories are affecting you.
You might not even need turinabol to start, a clean test only run often tells us everything we need, but get the log going now it takes 10 minutes and the Anabolex family can guide this properly instead of guessing. :)


HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Two thoughts
1. I'd prefer you to NOT have started PEDs at age 23
2. Eating what your body craves is NOT a good idea.
1. Me too. Lots of things I wish I had done differently. I'm older and more aware of myself and my actions now. I do more risk analysis and learn, mostly, from my mistakes. I'm not committed entirely yet to this cycle, it might just be test alone or nothing at all.

2. A little crudely worded but I hear you. I'm overweight and maintaining a calorie deficit with high protein, low carbs and fats. Currently drug free 5'9" 185lbs 23%bf... first thing I consumed when I woke up was 25 grams of protein powder with a cup of sugar free almond milk. I got ready for work and then ate for breakfast a baked chicken cutlet with roasted vegetables. 3 hours later another protein shake. 3 hours later lunch consisting of 1/4lb deli turkey and olive lemon feta. 3 hours later protein shake. After work I ran a mile and then did my strength training. For dinner I ate another baked chicken cutlet with roasted veggies. Right before bed, another protein shake.

I'm too fat right now so I'm getting just enough to maintain a good calorie deficit but also allow for maintaining some muscle. Just from todays foods and supplement I got at least 160 grams of protein, 30 grams of quality fats (poly and mono) and 30 grams of carbs. My calculated BMR is 1750 and I think I got well below this and feel great. My whey protein supplementation was 600 calories alone and you can do the math on the 2 baked chicken cutlets, roasted veggies, 1/4lb deli turkey and olive lemon feta.
 
One of the best things you can do is fasting. I've talked about fasting a lot. I've done podcasts on fasting, even wrote a fasting ebook. The point is fasting helps keep you disciplined. Fasting will also increase your insulin sensitivity and it will help you with the cravings and get rid of the food noise. It's a great option.

Also Retatrutide is definitely something you should be looking into as well. I know it's a lot of information just in a couple paragraphs but you can always hit me up for a consultation and we can go over a protocol for you going forward to get you on track.

Bros, you should definitely post up your pictures. You said you started a log. What do you mean by that? You should start a log on here. This is the way we can guide you along.

You certainly went to the right place as para pharma is a fantastic source. I would say getting a log up is very important. We need to dial in your training and your diet.

Definitely get a log up. There's many different ways to run a cycle. Tbol and test E is a good stack but you want to be optimally in top shape before you hop on.
