Weights and endurance same day?

I have been lazy for the past year and haven't been working out after having worked out for many years straight
I want to get back into it but not sure if how my body reacts. Do you think it would be too much to do cardio and weight training on the same day or should I rotate?
 
Do weights one day, cardio another, so you can put max effort into each.
 
some guys do cardio then weights or vice versa. pretty standard. you just can't go all out on either unless you are like under 30 years old lol
